ABC Convention 2025 recap: Key takeaways on Workforce Management & construction tech

Another month, another trade show. This time? We were in Las Vegas for ABC Convention 2025. Along with after hours events, basking in the glow of The Sphere and this year’s National Craft Championships we spent the bulk of our time on the show floor at Mandalay Bay talking with contractors about Workforce Management. We’re already excited for next year’s show in Salt Lake!

Here’s a few of the things we saw and learned in Sin City.

Jess: I’ve been to Las Vegas for construction trade shows before, but this was my first time at the ABC Conference. Seeing how the industry is embracing tech in new ways was eye-opening and fun. Lots of contractors have successfully brought tech into their businesses and now they’re showing others the way forward – especially those that might be a little more hesitant to do so. The strategies they’ve used are pushing the industry toward modernization and highlighting the benefits that come with it.

Devin: Adopting Workforce Management practices is an initiative that keeps growing for construction contractors. Talking with our RIVET contractors at the ABC Convention about the bottom-line improvements they’ve seen since making WFM a priority reinforced that there isn’t an industry climate that doesn’t reward proper manpower Forecasting.
