Construction Suicide Prevention Week
Construction has the second-highest suicide rate of all domestic industries. The suicide rate for male construction workers is 75% higher than that of the general population. Suicide outpaces other job site fatalities by over 500%. It doesn’t have to be this way.
This week marks the fourth annual Construction Suicide Prevention Week, and a mission-based group of volunteers from across the industry has a bevy of resources to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health like warning signs, webinars and Toolbox Talks (including several in Spanish) to share that can help save the lives of your employees.
